The barrier island of Holden Beach, NC has over over eight miles of pristine, sandy beaches and a year round moderate temperature. The island attracts many visitors who want to experience a unique, quiet, and family oriented atmosphere. What's even better? The island is a sea turtle habitat and during the hatching season (May - October) those who don't mind staying up late can witness one of nature's most interesting pleasures - watching hundreds of small sea turtles "boil" out of the sand and marching to the ocean.
There's plenty to do on and off the island, from relaxing on the beach, taking a boat tour, fishing, biking, golf cart rentals, nationally recognized dining, shopping, put-put golf, and over 125 superb golf course within an hours drive. This island has all you need for that perfect family getaway you've been dreaming about!

With quick and easy access to all that the island has to offer. This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath (and an outdoor shower!) is located on one of the deepest and widest canals on the island, with a straight shot/view out to the intracoastal. Enjoy the ocean breeze, sounds of waves crashing, sunrises, and sunsets from 2 covered porches. Relax on the oversized dock, or on the hammock under the house. Use the crab pot to catch some dinner, or bring a fishing pole to catch some fish. Oversized kitchen is perfect for cooking up your favorite seafood! We also have 2 paddle boards for use in the canals, as well as cornhole boards, bacchii ball, and beach chairs for our guests to use.
The house is less than a 4 minute walk to the beach and pier (it's so close, you can see the ocean from the front porch). The pier is a great place to relax, as well as one of the top shelling locations on the island. Also within a short walk or bike ride is the General store and ice cream. The island restaurants are less than a mile and a half away, making for quick access via bike or golf cart.
